Meet Philanthropist and Author ~ Carrie Wucinich, RDH
Advocate for Childhood Cancer Awareness
Carrie Wucinich is a Registered Dental Hygienist, author, and mother of two children.
In 2016, Carrie met a grieving mother that had recently lost her son Cooper, to cancer. Carrie had just become a mom 4 months prior, and the thought of losing her son left her devastated and heartbroken for Mary. That night has forever changed Carrie, and since then she has vowed she would help bring happiness and joy to children and their families affected by cancer.
When Carrie wrote Where the Sugar Bugs Live, she knew this was a perfect way to educate children about the importance of dental health and help bring awareness and resources to childhood cancer families. Carrie’s ultimate goal is to spread love, education and awareness with every book. She loves to see where her books travel to and it brings her joy to see them gifted to children in hospitals and schools in under-served areas.
